Derek Wilson, a former champion from five years ago, has made a remarkable return to the top, emerging as the Gloucestershire 2025 Singles Champion after a hard-fought battle against runner up Delvin Porter.
It was a tense and skill-filled contest, capping off a tournament in which 24 players showcased nerves, precision and tactical brilliance.
After the first round and quarter-finals, the semi-finals featured players representing Tewkesbury, Yorkley and Kingsway. All four semi-finalists delivered strong, memorable performances worthy of their places in the final stages.
Following plenty of oohs, ahhs, and well-earned applause, two players rose to meet in what proved to be an outstanding final.
Both finalists displayed exceptional bowling, but Derek maintained a narrow lead throughout and held it to the finish.
