We are pleased to invite clubs to enter our annual charity fundraising tournament in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, which will once again be held at Halo Leominster Sports Centre, Bridge Street.

Each club is guaranteed one team entry. Clubs are also invited to indicate how many additional teams they would like to enter should places become available. Please do not include payment for additional teams at this stage.

Once all guaranteed entries have been received, any remaining places will be allocated by draw. Full match details, including playing times, will be circulated to clubs well in advance of the event.

The tournament is open to both registered and non-registered players and is intended to provide a friendly yet competitive day of bowls, giving everyone the chance to enjoy themselves while raising as much money as possible for this very worthy cause.

Format:

• Up to 40 teams
• Teams of four, playing two woods each
• Four games per team
• Timed games of 40 minutes
• Scoring: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw

Tea, coffee and cakes will be available throughout the day. Players are asked to bring their own lunch; a separate room will be available for refreshments and rest periods between games.

This is always a very popular competition and the support shown in previous years has been greatly appreciated. To ensure your club’s place, please return your entry form as soon as possible.
