Please find on the GSMBA Website the entry forms for this year’s County Championships / National Qualifiers 2025-2026. Can you make all members of your club aware of these and if possible, place them up on your notice boards?

Over 55s Pairs – Sat 18th October 2025
Singles – Sat 29th November 2025
Pairs – Sat 13th December 2025
Triples – Sat 3rd January 2026
Fours – Sat 17th January 2026
Mixed Fours – Sat 31st January 2026
Under 18s (details to follow)
A few things to note again this year:
All competitions will be held at Kingsway Community Centre, Quedgeley. Parking at Kingsway will be limited so try to car share as much as possible for these events.
Entry fees are £5.00 per player per discipline to be paid at time of entry. £1: 00 donation per player on the day to cover costs of refreshments will be most appreciated.

The closing date for entries is the 26th September 2025. This is to allow me time to submit any National Entries before the deadline, and also to confirm numbers for planning each discipline. County Championship dates are as per Championship Entry Forms 2025-2026
Please mark on the entry form whether or not you wish to be put forward as a National Entry.

If any registered members are interested in participating in the upcoming championships but do not currently have a partner or team within their club, please let me know. I am compiling a register of available players and will explore the possibility of forming mixed teams from different clubs across the county.
This is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new players, and have the chance to compete.
