We are inviting entries for this year’s County Knockout Competition.
Clubs may enter up to two teams, with entries closing on Friday, 19th September 2025.
Competition Format (Summary)
- Teams: Minimum of 6 players per team
- Games:
- 2 x Triples (10 ends each)
- 1 x Fours (10 ends)
- 1 x Pairs – Australian rules (10 ends, 4 bowls)
- Scoring:
- 2 points per win, 1 for a draw
- 1 bonus point for overall shots
- Max. 9 points available per match
- Other Key Rules:
- Away team chooses mats
- Substitutions allowed mid-game (but substituted players cannot return in that match)
- Match fee: £18 per team (£3 per player) paid to host club
- Schedule: Matches played as straight knockouts (not home & away) through to the March final at a neutral venue
📅 Key Dates
- Closing Date for Entries: 19th September 2025
- Draw: County meeting in early September
- Rounds to follow monthly through winter, with the Final in March
