Fifteen Gloucestershire-based players (and one non-player) enjoyed another fantastic week of bowls at the Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish Warren from 9th to 14th February.
Competing in the Pairs and Triples competitions, Gloucestershire once again saw success on the mats in the ballroom.
Monica Carter, Graham Ewers, and Chris Evans, who were defending their November title in the Triples competition, narrowly missed out on a final spot by just one shot.
However, there was a breakthrough for another Gloucestershire team—Lisa Pearson, Rob Pearson, and Mike Sparrow—who reached the Triples final. They finished as runners-up to Vickie Hickman, David Cottrell, and Martin Porter, falling short in a hard-fought 6–9 defeat.
Well done to Lisa, Rob, and Mike on a fantastic achievement!
