Hi folks
Two of the last 3 fixtures were played yesterday, at Defford and Wotton hall. Just Yorkley to go next Tuesday before the play-offs and final.
Yesterdays results have firmed up some of places in the finals. Yorkley Kestrels join Kingsway in the main final despite a poor evenings results, whilst Westbury Lancasters move into the 3rd automatic final slot thanks to 2 good wins and a draw. They can only be overtaken now by another Westbury team, the Hurricanes, who play next week and will need a couple of wins to get the place back.
Longhope cemented their place in the play off round with 7 points last night. Ripple Ravens and Yorkley Merlins will both play in the eliminator round whilst Defford diamonds, sitting in 10th spot will hope the Westbury Wellingtons don’t get the single point to take that last place.
Forest of Dean and Yorkley Falcons will decide their fate next week to see who plays in the play-offs or has to fight their way through the eliminators. I hope you are all following this.
At the other end of the table, a last effort and 3 good wins at home got Defford Sapphires off the bottom (on shot difference)
