Another couple of good competitive evenings of matches this week at Yorkley and Ripple.
Yorkley Kestrels featured on both nights, winning 5 of their 6 matches, although 3 went down to the last ball on the last end for wins by a single shot. Their defeat was a real hammering by bottom team Defford Sapphires who played superbly.
Wotton Hall Javelins looked a good side and | was impressed by their 15 (I think) year old lead, Kieran Flynn. One to look out for in the future.
With just 9 fixtures still to play in the regular season all matches are now getting crucial for those wishing to finish in the top 10 spots for the finals, especially the top 3 who go direct to the main final at Wotton hall.
