A really great evening of bowls at Yorkley last evening in the County Summer League.
Kingsway cemented their place at the top of the table with 3 wins, two of them due to a brilliant last bowl from Chris Evans, who was on fire all evening.
There were 91 shots scored over the 6 matches, I’m not sure the last time, if ever, this has happened.
The fight for places in the top 10 is still close, and Yorkley Merlins and and Defford Diamonds must sit and wait in 9th and 10th place and see what the two Westbury teams achieve in their last set of matches.
Wotton hall javelins could also spring a late surprise if they win all 3 games at home next Tuesday.
