October 12 – 13th 2024 saw the 2nd Ladies British Isles Championships
The squad travelled to Carmarthen for a weekend of matches with Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
The format for the weekend was:
Singles, Pairs, Triples and Rinks for Individual Championship Cups, and a Team Championship consisting of four Rinks
For the second year the Team Championship went to Ireland with England retaining their runner up position.
In the individual Championships, Ireland swept the board, with England runners up in the Singles and Pairs matches. Wales were runners up in the Triples and Rinks.
The competition upheld the highest standards of sportsmanship and showcases the skills of Short Mat Bowls
