The GSMBA Winter League is open to all affiliated clubs that can play matches on two mats. The league runs from September to March.
Each match consists of 8 players from each club, forming two teams of 4 players each. A game is played on each mat, followed by an interval (usually for refreshments). After the interval, the two home teams switch mats, and another two games are played.
Points are awarded as follows:
- 2 points for each of the four games (total of 8 points available).
- An additional 2 points for the club with the highest overall shot total across all four games.
This results in a maximum of 10 points per match.
