The final competition of the county championships, the fours, was a tremendous success, with all teams showcasing competitive spirit and enthusiasm. The event was a testament of the skill and camaraderie within the bowling community.
After an impressive display of talent, the winners were crowned: a team from Defford consisting of Saul Featherston, Jo Featherstone, Mike Dooley, and Mike Sparrow.
Congratulations to them on their achievement.
Commiserations to the runners up from Kingsway: Rose Wilson, Derek Wilson, Pete Hesling, and Fred Lawson, who also performed admirably throughout the competition.
Special, thanks must go to Chris for organising another seamless and competitive event.
