Re-arranged AGM
Due to the COVID 19 situation this years AGM will be by proxy as agreed by 13 out of the 20 registered clubs. (3 against, 4 non-reply)
The proxy AGM of the Gloucestershire SMBA will be held on Friday 4th September 2020. The annual presentation will be limited to announcing the prize winners and trophies will be engraved as usual and independently delivered to the recipients when possible. All data including written officer reports, proposals, nominations and questions from the clubs will be delivered to all club secretaries by 7th August 2020 together with the formal agenda. Accompanying the agenda will be a voting sheet with room for each club to enter two votes for each agenda item requiring it. Questions relating to the proposals may be submitted up to two weeks prior to the AGM date leaving time for replies. The voting sheets, duly signed off by a club officer, should be returned to the County Secretary by no later than 7th September to be counted. (Email returns please) The voting sheet will include a section for comments etc if the club wish to make them. The AGM will be deemed complete after the 7th September and when any questions posed have been answered. The minutes will be raised as soon after the meeting date as possible, a summary of voting etc will be published within a week of the AGM completion.
