DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite clubs to enter our annual charity fundraising tournament in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support\, which will once again be held at Halo Leominster Sports Centre\, Bridge Street. \nDate: Sunday 29 November 2026 \nEntry fee: £32.00 per team \nPlease email your completed entry form to the County Competition Secretary at\nhsmbacompetitionsec@gmail.com \n \nPayment should be made by bank transfer using the following details: \n\nSort code: 30-98-97\nAccount number: 61819160\nAccount name: HSMBA\nPayment reference: ‘Your Team Name’ Macmillan\n\nEach club is guaranteed one team entry. Clubs are also invited to indicate how many additional teams they would like to enter should places become available. Please do not include payment for additional teams at this stage. \nOnce all guaranteed entries have been received\, any remaining places will be allocated by draw. Full match details\, including playing times\, will be circulated to clubs well in advance of the event. \nThe tournament is open to both registered and non-registered players and is intended to provide a friendly yet competitive day of bowls\, giving everyone the chance to enjoy themselves while raising as much money as possible for this very worthy cause. \nFormat: \n\nUp to 40 teams\nTeams of four\, playing two woods each\nFour games per team\nTimed games of 40 minutes\nScoring: 2 points for a win\, 1 point for a draw\n\nTea\, coffee and cakes will be available throughout the day. Players are asked to bring their own lunch; a separate room will be available for refreshments and rest periods between games. \nThis is always a very popular competition and the support shown in previous years has been greatly appreciated. To ensure your club’s place\, please return your entry form as soon as possible. \nAs an organisation and of course with all your support we have now raised over £40\,000 for Macmillan\, we look forward to welcoming you for another enjoyable and successful Macmillan charity event.
