SUMMARY:Gloucester 'Top Team' Competition
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE OUTDOORS ON THE ALL WEATHER BOWLS GREEN\n\nENTRIES.  Up to 2 TEAMS PER CLUB (current structure assumes an entry of 12 teams\n\nTEAMS. Will consist of a minimum of 5 players (no maximum)\n\n \nFORMAT.(with 12 teams) The event will be split into 2 groups of 6 teams. Teams will play each other at pairs (3 woods) and triples. Group games over 7 ends\, Knock out games over 8 ends. The top 2 teams from each group will go into the main draw semi finals and final\, third and fourth placed teams will play for the plate\, and 5th and 6th teams for the ‘spoon’\n\nAll teams will therefore play 5 group games and 1 or 2 play off games.\nPlayers can move between pairs and triples as the team captain decides and extra players can be substituted at any time during a match. (as teams will be playing between 43 and  51 ends\, teams may wish to consider a squad of more than 5 players)\n\nSCHEDULE\nSUNDAY 26th.\n8-30 Mats marked out and ready for use by 9-15am\n9-15 to 9-45  signing on\, with list of team members and entry fee\n9-15 to 10    Free practise\, after signing on\n10.00  First group matches\n            Second group matches\nCoffee break\n11.45  Third group matches\n             Fourth group matches\nLunch break\n1.45    Fifth group matches\n2.45    Semi-finals (main\, plate\, spoon)\n3.45    Finals\n4.45 approx   Presentations and clear up\n\nENTRIES open on receipt of this notice and close on April 28th\nENTRY FEE  (payable on the day)  £25 per team.
